Ron and Faye’s love story began in Vancouver, where they first met. At the time, Faye wasn’t particularly impressed with Ron, but over time, a genuine friendship blossomed between them. About a year later, their friendship grew into something deeper, and they began dating—even though Faye knew her family might not approve.

 

Eight years later, Ron proposed. As they prepared for their wedding, Ron made the heartfelt decision to fully embrace the Catholic faith, and in doing so, Faye’s family came to accept and support their relationship.

 

On May 1, 2010—exactly nine years after they first started dating—Ron and Faye were married at St. Andrew’s Parish in Padua. Today, they are proud parents of two boys, and their family extends lovingly to include Ron’s older son and daughter, along with her family.
