We’re Ramil and Luz Abad. We’ve been together for 34 years—married for 29 of them. We have four amazing kids, three of whom are now fully grown and off doing their own thing, while our youngest, at 16, is inching closer to independence.

Twenty years ago, we packed up our lives and moved to Canada, where we juggled work, parenting, and the beautiful chaos of raising a family. Now, we find ourselves in a completely new chapter—one where it's mostly just the two of us.
